Privacy Policy
PrintableBloom is a small, independent shop selling printable PDF products for young children. This policy explains, in plain English, what information we collect, why, and the choices you have. If anything here is unclear, just email Emma — a real person reads every message.
Who we are
"PrintableBloom", "we", "us" and "our" refer to the PrintableBloom store at shop.printablebloom.com. We are the data controller for the information described below. To reach us about privacy, email hi@printablebloom.com.
What we collect
- Your email address — right now we collect nothing here. The newsletter and free-pack sign-up are not switched on yet: if you type an address into a sign-up box, it is not sent anywhere and is not stored. The only way to reach us today is by emailing hi@printablebloom.com — we then hold that email only to reply to you. When sign-ups do go live, they will be handled by MailerLite, our email provider, and this page will be updated first.
- Purchase information — checkout is not open yet, so no purchase data is collected today. When it opens, checkout and payment will be handled entirely by Payhip, our store and payment processor. Payhip collects the details it needs to take payment (such as your name, email and billing country) and to deliver your download. We receive a record of the sale (for example your email and which pack you bought) but we never see or store your full card number.
- Basic usage data — like most websites, our host records standard technical information (such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit) to keep the site secure and working. If we use privacy-friendly analytics, it is only to understand which pages are helpful — never to build advertising profiles of you.
How we use your information
- To deliver the free pack and any product you download.
- To send the newsletter you asked for, and to reply when you contact us.
- To process orders, provide support, and keep records we are legally required to keep.
- To keep the site secure and to fix problems.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone except the trusted providers who help us run the shop (below).
Who we share it with
Today the only provider that receives anything is our web host. The two below are the providers we will use once sign-ups and checkout are switched on — until then they receive nothing from this site:
- Our web host — serving this website (active now).
- MailerLite — email newsletter delivery (not active yet).
- Payhip — checkout, payment processing and file delivery (not active yet).
These providers only receive the information they need to do their job, and they are not permitted to use it for their own marketing.
Cookies & analytics
PrintableBloom uses a small amount of local browser storage to remember things like your cart count while you browse — this stays on your device. Payhip's checkout may set its own cookies needed to process your order. If we add analytics, we will keep it privacy-friendly and update this page. You can clear or block cookies in your browser at any time; the shop still works without them (though the cart badge may reset).
How long we keep it
We keep newsletter emails until you unsubscribe. We keep order records for as long as we need them for accounting and legal reasons. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see below), subject to any records we are legally required to keep.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct anything that's wrong.
- Ask us to delete your information ("right to be forgotten").
- Unsubscribe from marketing emails — there's a one-click link at the bottom of every email.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
These reflect rights under the EU/UK GDPR and the California CCPA/CPRA. We do not "sell" or "share" personal information as those laws define it. To exercise any right, email hi@printablebloom.com and we'll take care of it.
Children's privacy
Our products are for children, but our shop is intended to be used by parents, carers and educators. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has given us their information, please contact us and we will remove it.
Changes to this policy
If we make meaningful changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Please check back now and then.
