The friendly first hello to numbers 1 through 10. Every number gets a page of its own — a big dashed numeral to trace from the start dot and pictures to count — and then a playdough mat: a wide number-shaped road with a circle every few centimetres to fill with little balls. After that come the games: show your fingers, count and match, more or less, what comes next, a balloon count and three mazes that grow from easy to tricky.
